A+ for Workshop 1

Fantastic class - everyone was so eager to participate and to offer their creative ideas.  I see some real talent in this group - thoughtful ideas, energy, creativity and a mature understanding of media.  I was nervous to teach today because I am used to college students, but these kids did a really great job. They were eager to learn, respectful and fun. I hope they all consider attending UIUC in the future - I’d love to teach them more! I look forward to ‘grading’ their homework - LOL!

PSA (public service annoncement) was cool. Shelly,Aarian,Tre’shaun,and I got to put down our own ideas for a PSA and i say we did pretty well. Tonight i got homework..lol…That might sound boring but this is the kinda homework you wanna do…lol. Yeah Today we got our flip cameras and thats what we do our homework with….I have to say…This Kickin It At Kickapoo Project is the best thing that ever happen to me.

♥today we had a advertisment class its was fun we looked at different advertisments such as taco bell and mcdonalds. then we made are own commercial and advertisment and after that we got are flip camera.

I wa s really fun even though i got bit by an gosse i was stilll fun this man cure it and it felt better. I hope a time we do that again holding the gosse. Then i was on television that was reallly exiting.

HOMEWORK IN SUMMER

                                  I would have never thought that i would have homework in the summer but it is a good thing because…..............................      WE GOT ARE FLIP YAEH. Today we learned a little more about advertising it was funny because we saw the taco bell dog and the way he talks is funny. Then we started to get creative an think of what can we do on are boradcast. Then we were split in two groups and the group I was in was all girls so we had to target are to girls ages 12 to 16 so we came up with a girl texting. And some body comes in and throws her in a van and leaves her at kickapoo. She see’s some one litter and she stops them and we do a jingle. The older goup was target to boys age 12 to 16 and they envoled sports and litter I liked there Idea because it was a smart way to put thing together that boys like

Today we had a PSA training workshop the first one of 3 it was so fun we had a presentation on how we could get more boys and girls to come out to Kickapoo State Park from the ages 12 to 17 or younger and older it was really fun we got to see amd talk about different commercials and we even saw the McDonalds and commercial with the big mack jingle and the Taco Bell commercial with the dog and his girl friend so FUN!!!!

Today we had got our flip videos and there are great cuz there green. But i was so happy that we had a chance to see psa and give our comment about it. I feel that everyone had great ideals and put there all in to everything. But i enjoyed it and look forward to it again. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO MAKES THIS HAPPEND.
