I am involved in this project because:

I am involved with this project because I enjoy working with youth. Both youth and the adults gain from working on these projects and discovering a place like Kickapoo State Park. We want everyone to be aware of and proud of having a place like Kickapoo State Park, but we also have to take care of it, too. When you learn to appreciate something, it’s easy to take pride in its maintenance. Hopefully after this project, a small group of people will have a better feeling of ownership of Kickapoo State Park and the video PSA’s they make will convey that feeling to others as they watch them on-air and on the web.

My best experience at Kickapoo so far is:

I was trying to mountain unicycle ride on the bike trails with my friend, Peter. It was painfully humbling, but I had a great time and saw many things Kickapoo has to offer.
